Location The address to Casa Don Juan is: 49 Carrio10E, 03710 Calpe, Alicante, Spain The most common access is from Alicante and Valencia airports and we recommend to take the A-7 motorway from the airport to the Calpe turnpike road 332. It takes 45 minutes from the Alicante airport to Calpe. From Calpe city you take the road to Moraira (2 minutes by car). Our caretaker, Les Wilkinson, sometimes also function as your private chauffeur back and forth to the airport (remember to make an appointment before you go). According to the World Health Organisation, Costa Blanca has the best climate in the world with 325 days of sun a year!
Casa Don Juan is situated in a quiet residential area in Calpe. The nearest store is just a 5 minutes walk away as well as some restaurants. Beaches are also close. Visit the beautiful Calpe beach (20 minutes walk) , the "local" beach which is only a 10 minutes walk from Casa Don Juan.The marina with a diving center, a sailboat rental and a seafood restaurant is a 15 minutes walk. To get to the Calpe center with shops, restaurants and entertainment, is only a 30 minutes walk away. Calpe has approx. 20.000 permanent residents and is an expression of real Spain with excellent food, tasty wines, nightblack coffee, fishing villages, castles, long beaches and wonderful weather. You will find picturesque narrow shopping streets, Moorish quarters, the Medieval city wall and the only Mudejar-Gothic style church along the coastline!
